I have written more words about Beck than I’ve typed about any other musician (most of which I never published) so I won’t add much here to except to say that after my intense 90s/early 00s love affair with the man, this is one of the few tracks that still really resonates with me and make me yearn for the salad days of youth (tho they weren’t really salad days, in all honesty).
